Procedure design services

We offer a wide range of services, from conventional navigation to PBN procedures, including APV and RNP AR operations. In addition, we also offer the design of customized solutions such as continuity procedures based on EASA-OPS tailored for individual aircraft performance, company-specific approach procedures, and more.

About us

Avinor is the preferred provider of instrument flight procedures to all Norwegian airports published in AIP Norway.

The Avinor PANS-OPS team is proudly represented in the ICAO Instrument Flight Procedure Panel (IFPP) with two participants, giving us unique insight into new criteria and developments in the regulations governing procedure design.

Our Instrument Flight Procedure Design team incorporates expertise in key aviation-related areas such as Air Traffic Control, ARINC 424, cartography, commercial piloting, and airspace design. This knowledge, combined with expert knowledge of instrument flight procedure design, enables us to create safe, efficient, and innovative solutions for Norwegian airspace users. Several members of the Avinor Instrument Flight Procedure Design team participate in international panels, providing us with both access to and influence on upcoming changes in the regulations for Instrument Flight Procedure Design.

Charting

As an additional service to our IFPD customers, we also offer a fully customizable Instrument Flight Procedure Chart tailored to your operational requirements.

We can also create an instrument approach chart from an existing procedure design dataset. Chart services can be requested in addition to the design of an instrument flight procedure or as a separate product.

Charts can be purchased as a standalone product or as an annual subscription service.
