The Nordic air cargo hub

Norway dominates the Nordic air freight market. Half of all air freight in the region comes from Norway, with volumes that have increased by over 10% annually since 2006. We expect further growth in the coming years.

    Driving Norway’s air cargo traffic

The main drivers for air freight traffic are Norway's seafood, oil and gas, and maritime sectors. Every day, around 650 tons of seafood are flown from Norway to Asia and North America. With more than 20 weekly full flights serving the airport, Oslo Airport is the largest full freighter hub in Northern Europe. The airport handles around 200,000 tons of air freight annually.

Not least because of Norway's seafood industry, we expect the growth trend to continue for several years to come. Outbound air cargo from Norway remains an underserved market. Do not hesitate to contact us to discuss the great opportunities in Norway's air cargo market!
